Committee Meeting Minutes

• CALENDAR:Take Committee Meetings out of Calendar

• PHOTOS:Archive photos – black very hard to read – can this be changed?

• EVENTS:Suggestion to put all events on the Webpage – just email Noel all Events that need to be published – eventually all Events Organisers should be able to post their own events.

• WAY WEST:Venue will only be advertised on Website when full details are ready.

• MEMBERS:Davide will send updated list of members by Wednesday to Noel. WIX works by adding members as contacts and requires members to register individually which might be cumbersome as members would need to setup their own private password – as some Members struggle with technology a generic password for all members would be a lot easier as is the case with the present website. Guest area on WIX at the moment has a password of DMTC2026 [again similar to the current website where password is DMTC2025]. Noel originally suggested 3 different Blogs but will just keep it to one Blog. He can setup a COMMITTEE MEETINGS Blog at a later stage which will only be accessible by the Committee Members –this will ensure all minutes will be recorded in one area on the webpage. Noel will check that all Committee Members have valid logins and therefore have access to all areas of the new Webpage.

  26 members have not paid to date – 6 of which are honorary members only.

  To summarise the webpage is fully operational – suggesting testing for another week and then use the same DMTC domain – new web site will be seamless to members – Noel to test domain with John. Logins are only required if you want to restrict members – Noel is going to remove the Login aspect and only password the Committee Meetings.

  • Mystery 500: Deposit to be paid on 15th .

  • Andy working on route for Mystery 500 – what is the mileage required?

  • Photo Rally – Andy was approached by non-members to do the DMTC Photo Rally – they proposed

    to pay as non-members – suggested that we do not charge these bikers – events are for club members only - no issues with non-members doing the Photo Rally but no payments accepted and no involvement in prize giving – pictures can only be submitted by members.

  • Monthly Spin is 22nd February – Dee suggesting A&C around 8th or 10th March – venue will depend on the weather. Hill walk suggested by Conor – details to follow – hoping to organise a hill walk monthly.

  • Next Meeting – Tuesday February 24th – Shankill 5pm – followed by social at 7.30pm.
