The first offical rideout of the year went very well thanks to Tony and Tim Comerford and of course the Weather played a stormer with lovely blue skies,There were 38 bikes 34 members and 4 guests.The route chosen had something for everyone bit of main roads and lots of twistety,s.We had a brief stop in Fore where i was told by Pearse that in the 1970s there was a lotof road raceing,we then went to Castlepollard for a very nice lunch in toms bar and bistro, a great day all in

Well, we could not have asked for a better day. Lovely autumn sunshine after two wet dull grey days. 26 members left Spawell only to lose Noel O’Kelly early into the trip. Noel was on his first club run. Unfortunately a group of other motorcyclists got in between us and Noel followed them which can happen with such a large group. He missed the back marker. It wasn't until he arrived in Laragh he realised he was with the wrong group. In fairness he made his way to Highfield GC

Compliments to Gerry and Cushy Kane for this their second time organising the annual Memorial run in honour of all our deceased members. It was a bit longer than the average monthly run but the route was well planned taking us over a selection of N and R roads. There was a good turn out despite many regulars being absent. Nice to see quite a few faces we hadn't seen in a while, especially Patriza who was back riding pillion with Davide and looking very well indeed. The weathe
