Social Report 28th Jan 2025

Many thanks to all who attended the social. The cheque for €6,200 was presented to Philip Connolly from the Dublin Wicklow Mountain rescue. He was extremely grateful and thanked the club members for our generosity.

It is a credit to all in the club who contributed in many ways to raise that amount of money.

Our dear friend Laurence Boland, before his death, requested his bike be sold and the proceeds go to the club charity. That was the measure of the man. His KTM is currently for sale in Bikeworld.

Many thanks to all who renewed their membership. Martin Carragher (Membership Sec) was a very busy man.

Copies of the club Photo Event for 2025 were available along with some free maps.

Thanks to Teddy who assisted Stephen in the kitchen, he was under some pressure due to the large attendance. Thanks to Ber Kenny and Kathy Byrne who supplied some delicious home baking.....Well done ladies.

Angela and John McKenna kindly brought some surplus motorcycle gear for anyone who wanted it.

Ber Kenny is now keeping the Calendar of Events on the website up to date, so please keep an eye on future events.

Jim.
