Report on AGM held on Tue.26th Nov 2024

This year's AGM went off very smoothly. It was attended by 52 members. All the committee with the exception of Stephen Whelan and John Tannam went forward for re-election for 2025. Martin Carragher was nominated to replace John Tannam as Membership Sec. Martin held this position previously. Ber Kenny was nominated to replace Stephen Whelan as Secretary.

Frank Cronin chaired the election of the new committee, assisted by Nessa Waldron who acted as Teller.

Nessa Waldron and John Langton were re elected Directors of DMTC CLG 2025.

John Dunne gave a comprehensive report on the club finances which are in a healthy state. It is the intention that the increase in membership fees for 2025 will benefit the members.

After 50 years of hosting the Riders Rally it has been decided to replace it with the “MYSTERY 500”. This will be a ‘Cash’ based award event. It is hoped that it will be well supported by the membership…… remember if you're not in you can't

win. It will be held on the 9/10/11th.May 2025'

The new committee will meet soon to put forward a program of events for 2025.

The donations to the charity box amounted to €111.35 plus €240 which was raised from the auction of Christmas ornaments carved from wood by John Kane.
